Hi Valerie. Well, my intention was to sign up for the Valencia SJ opera for tonite but I didn't get to do it before 5 pm. So I went anyway & tried to find you but couldn't. I arrived just after it started and enjoyed it. Hope you did. So you know, I rarely do opera, but this was close, free & short so I signed up. Thanks.

Join Jewish Voice for Peace and Bay Area Women in Black this Saturday, September 25th, 12-1pm, outside the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland, to stand for the hundreds of Palestinian children who are arrested and detained by the Israeli military.

End military aid to Israel. See photographs of Palestinian children being arrested or targeted by soldiers' assault weapons.

We hope to to contrast massive US financial aid to Israel with the budgetary crisis in our own cities.
