SPECIAL EVENT: Movie Group Matinee #2
A good and happy New Year 2010 to everyone!!
Please join us for our second Palo Alto Independent Films Group Movie Matinee!
We will once again rent the Aquarius theater for a Sunday morning event, watch a great film and then head out for lunch to discuss the movie and film in general. In addition to our feature film we'll also show an award-winning short film that is 'fantastic' in every sense of the word.
Since the first event was so successful (check out the pictures) we'll keep the same format (only moving the time back a little 
), and we won't reveal the feature film that we'll be watching (... except that the movie has been suggested from within the group).
Instead we're giving you hints that enable you to look it up if you want to know. 
(Or you can always ask one of the organizers)
Our film this time
- is a Norwegian Comedy/Drama from the early 2000s
- was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Foreign Language Film
The rough schedule for the event is as follows:
- 10.30 Welcome & Socializing (we'll have coffee, tea and treats again)
- 11.00 Short film 'The Facts In The Case Of Mr. Hollow'
- 11.15 Feature film presentation
- 1.00 We'll head out for lunch

We require a contribution of $10 (to cover rent for the theater and screening fee for the film) for this event that you will be asked to pay via PayPal as you RSVP.

CarmenEllin was a great film. I truly enjoyed it. (As for the six-minute film that preceded it, I think the only good thing about it was its brevity!)

LindaGreat comedy! Took me off guard...though
t I was going to see a severe Norwegian film but this comedy was just what the Dr. ordered. Nice bagels and assorted spreads and coffee. Very good value and responsive audience. Thanks for putting it together.
